MAIL ORDER:
Plants are dispatched all year. There is no minimum order, but bearing in mind the cost of postage, you may consider pooling your order with another like minded person to offset the costs.
Sorry, but since we prefer the company of our plants to our computer, stock availability updates, card payments etc. are not available.
TERMS:
Please read our terms before filling in the order form.
ORDERING:
Download and fill in the order form and post it to us in the conventional manner. If you require an acknowledgement, please enclose a SAE.
Alternatively send us your list via e-mail. We will reserve the plants for 10 days until we receive your cheque.
All orders received by e-mail are acknowledged.
PLANTS:
The plants listed in this catalogue may not always be available. We propagate and sell out continuously.
Prices quoted are for well grown plants of the same quality as you would buy here at the nursery. The majority are in 1.5 litre (6")15cm pot. except where stated in the plant descriptions, (and of course depending upon what time of year you may be reading this, that may also have changed.) Generally speaking, and because our mail order is conducted all year, early in the season the plants may be in smaller pots (9 cm) likewise later in the season plants may well have been potted on. We will adjust the price accordingly and notify you on the invoice. In the spring or autumn we may send bare-root plants, divisions or dormant bulbs or tubers. Plants are dispatched on a first come first served basis and some items sell out quickly. We reserve the right to ration scarce items to one per person if necessary.
LETTING YOU KNOW WHEN TO EXPECT YOUR PLANTS:
We like to notify you in advance by phone or E-mail.
PROPAGATE TO ORDER:
If we have sold out of a particular plant we are quite happy to propagate it to order. This costs you nothing and guarantees that you get the plant you want, though of course it will take time. We let you know when your plant is ready. You send us a cheque, we send you the plants, and everyone's happy.
SUBSTITUTES:
We do not make substitutes unless requested to.
PACKING:
We take care to pack our plants well. They will arrive in a closed box with an itemized list of contents on the inside of the top of the box.
PAYMENT:
Prices are quoted in £ sterling.
The best system of payment is by the ": not to exceed..." cheque. Work out the cost of plants plus carriage then simply write the words ‘NOT TO EXCEED ***** POUNDS" between the two parallel lines in the middle of your cheque. This is a safe method. We cannot make the cheque out for more than the amount you have stated, but we can make it out for less if something is out of stock or we have to supply a smaller plant.
Please make cheques payable to Prime Perennials.
Cheques are not cashed until we have dispatched your plants.
