Bidens heterophylla

Bidens heterophylla

Spreading perennial with large, pale creamy-lemon cosmos-type flowers, with a central boss of old-gold stamens. Late summer/autumn. Any soil. Sun. [4-5'] 122-152cm. Hardy here.
Borago pygmaea

Borago pygmaea

Ground hugging rosette's of coarse hairy foliage, from which branching stems emerge, supporting small, delicate nodding sky-blue flowers. Fully perennial. Flowers June, right through to autumn. Poor stony soil. Sun/part-shade. [12-18"] 30-46cm. Seeds around if happy. 9cm pots.
Brunnera Jack Frost

Brunnera Jack Frost

Outstanding new introduction, with superb heart-shaped silver leaves, edged and veined with green. Sprays of bright-blue forget-me-not like flowers are an added bonus March/May. [10-15"] 25-38cm.

Brunnera macrophylla Langford Hewitt

Perfect for woodland conditions. Forget-me-not blue flowers, and foliage splashed yellow, later, turning pure yellow, with some exposure to sun during summer. [12-18"] 30-46cm.

Bulbine frutescens

Narrow succulent foliage and spikes of burnt-orange flowers, with fluffy prominent yellow stamens. Flowers for much of the year. Tender, so over-winter as a houseplant and enjoy the flowers until Dec. June/Oct. Well-drained soil. Sun. [12-18"] 30-46cm.
