Habranthus tubispathus

Habranthus tubispathus

Cheerful little bulbous perennial from dry upland slopes of South America. Deep-green filliform leaves, and bright goblets of burnt orange with paler throats. July/Sept. Fertile well-drained. Sun. Good for pot culture. Over winter undercover. [5"] 12cm. £2.70

Hedera helix Erecta

This non-climbing ivy, forms a neat bush of vertical spires, clothed in medium sized, rounded dark-green foliage. Very structural. [3'] 91cm. £4.00

Hedra helix Spetchley

A small-leaved Ivy, making a [1'] 30cm mound. Slow growing, and grand in a pot. Any soil. Sun/shade. AGM £3.00
Helenium Sahin's Early Flowerer

Helenium Sahin's Early Flowerer

Changing from day to day, the flowers open golden-yellow, become streaked with red, and by the time they have matured end up a rich burnt-orange. Since the flowers open in succession no two flowers are ever the same. £3.50

Heuchera Amber Waves

Another new introduction, and the words nauseas and bilious come to mind. Its certainly different and lots of people seem to love it. Evergreen bronzy-yellow foliage [though a more pleasing deep amber in sun] with pinkish-beige flower spikes in May/July. [1'] 30cm. Looks OK planted near brown or maroon foliage plants. Even better in a bin bag. Few. £3.50
Heuchera Beauty Color

Heuchera Beauty Color

Extremely tasteful, and one of the best of the new introductions, with handsome deep pewtered red-brown foliage, veined with yellow and edged with green, though the latter turns coral in winter. Spires of buff flowers provide a nice contrast in May/June. [20"] 51cm. £3.50
